Stoneywell Tour

Our first Acorn Adventure for this year. An afternoon out to Stoneywell National Trust property in Leicestershire. We managed to join the last guided tour of the day and heard some great stories about the place.

Ernest Gimson designed Stoneywell Cottage to appear as if organically grown among the rocky outcrops of the Charnwood Forest, and the cottage’s 11 rooms sit on seven different levels.
